Medical experts have advised Pakistanis to take preventive measures to protect themselves from the dengue virus as winter is starting, which is increasingly becoming an epidemic in Pakistan. The disease spread more rapidly in 2011 than in previous years, killing over 300 people with over 14,000 infected.
